Get ready for a weekend of rest and renewal at Calm by Firelight, a sauna and stillness retreat in Port Austin, Michigan. Come experience with Lake Huron as your backyard cold plunge.

We’ve designed this experience to be as simple as possible.

What to Expect:

• Dates: Friday, September 26 – Sunday, September 28 (optional stay through Monday, September 29). Arrive Friday after 3 p.m. and depart Sunday or Monday by noon.

• Accommodations: Tents are provided and set up for you at Star Forest Stay (). There is also a 6-person cabin available at Port Crescent State Park where we will be staying. You’ll choose a spot on a first-come, first-served basis.

• What to Bring:
• Sleeping bag, pillow, and linens.
• A hammock or an extra tent if you prefer.
• A dish to share for the optional community dinner.
• Activities:
• Daily Guided Sauna: Led by Greater Alexander with sessions at 10 a.m.(beginning saturday) and 7 p.m. (beginning friday) Come experience a Pondr Sauna () with Lake Huron as your backyard cold plunge.
• Cold Plunge: Take a refreshing dip in Lake Huron after your sauna session.
• Bonfire: Enjoy stargazing and silent meditation by the fire at 8 p.m.
• Free Time: Explore the trails, relax by the water, or simply enjoy the quiet.
