Barbara Kelly is a highly trained, Nationally Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist who earned her 1000-hr Certificate with Honors from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2003. She also is a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master having studied at the International Reiki Center in New York. In 2004, she completed Advanced Bodywork Studies in Sports and Orthopedic Massage, while obtaining an Associate
Degree in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy (AOS). By further deepening her knowledge of the body and alternative healing modalities she is able to draw from an extensive skill set to address your individual therapeutic needs. The areas of continuing education that she has focused on and excelled in include but are not limited to Deep Tissue Massage, Postural Correction, Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Medical Massage, Energy Medicine, Polarity Therapy, Reflexology, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Qi Gong and both Usui and Karuna Reiki. These massage therapy skills have led to employment in World-class, Five-star Luxury Hotel and Resort Spas across the United States and Puerto Rico and have cultivated lasting professional relationships with clients from all walks of life. Prior to opening her private practice in Port Chester, New York, she was a key Massage Therapist and Staff Member at Altheus in Rye, New York. She takes pride in being an AMTA Member since 2003 and a NCBTMB Member and Therapist since 2004. Most recently, Barbara completed the program for Esthetics and Skincare at the New York School of Esthetics with the intention of offering yet another incredibly valuable service to her ever growing client base. Her continued pursuit of body knowledge is a true testament to her passion for learning and service to others.
