Mindfulness and Wellbeing I love to see people learn how to live happier, healthier and more connected lives. In 2 years it comprehensively covers various types of meditation.

This is the page of Building Blocks Healing Center PLLC which provides mindfulness classes, retreats, body work and wellness education. My name is Joanna and I am a Mindfulness Teacher certified by MMTCP (Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program) lead by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. I’m also a doctor of Physical Therapy and since 1995 have been working primarily to help people with neck pain and headaches. My intention is to alleviate some pain and anxiety in our world today.

Upcoming class is a 6 week series and it’s meant to be attended each Tuesday.
Each session explains different mindfulness objects of attention (body sensations, breath, walking, kindness, compassion, goodness, openness) and then the participants practice each with a recorded meditation.
It is designed to start a daily meditation practice.
The series cost $100 for all sessions which include instruction, practice, class notes and audio of mediation to practice with each day.

Class starts on October 28 through December 2 from 6:00-7:30 pm.

Previous participants can drop in for a donation of $10-20. Please contact me prior to ensure time and location (sometimes there may be an adjustment in these).

As the dark days of the year approach, it’s nice to learn, or re-kindle daily meditation practice. Learning about what your mind is doing when you are not paying attention…. Hearing about how neuroscience agrees with ancient wisdom. Finding a practice that brings peace and calm into your days.
