Amey surprised us this morning when she returned from her "vacation" with treats for her co-workers. It sure doesn't look like she had any time to relax on the days off! So many different types of cookies and they are all just as yummy as they are beautiful!

Our team participated once again in Wreaths Across America both at Allied Veterans Cemetery in Port Huron and with a team of funeral directors from around the country at Arlington National Cemetery. We look forward to this opportunity each December to "Remember the fallen, Honor those who have served and Teach the value of freedom".
Even though I know both of these ladies prefer the spotlight be on the program, a very special thank you to Lisa Lynn and Sally Lowe Belanger for their dedication that gives us the opportunity to participate.

Mr. Randall would have been 100 years old today. As we think about him, we are especially grateful for his calling into funeral service after WWII. He, along with Barb, Ann, John and Laura, our current team, and many funeral directors he mentored and trained across the state of Michigan, have walked alongside thousands of grieving families in the decades since. Dave always said it was a privilege to be a funeral director and we are proud to honor his legacy with the work we continue to do every day. We know he would tell us to remember him by "taking five" and enjoying a cup of tea and a Scottish shortbread. We hope you'll join us in doing that today.

We encourage our team members to be involved in community service and last night Kaitlyn joined the Marysville Lions Club! The Lions International motto is "We Serve", and Kaitlyn is excited to participate ❤️ 🦁

Kylee and Aiyanna spent the day at the Gift of Life Michigan Educational Forum for Funeral Professionals. We were proud to be presented as an example of a "donor champion" funeral home and are committed to helping donors and their families save and improve lives ❤️

The Port Huron Old Newsboys came to Kiwanis Club this morning to give an update on their clothing voucher program for kids. Check out their page on how you can help out, which is especially important this time of year as it gets colder. 🧥

Fun side note: Newsboys current President Mary Meadows and John went to school together from kindergarten through graduation so they always enjoy catching up.
