What’s my secret to getting and maintaining plump, juicy lips that still look natural and don’t migrate? It’s simple. Don’t over fill and after a full syringe stick to half syringes.

Typically, if my patient likes their lips freshly done lips with a full syringe, I have them come back 6 weeks later and do another half syringe. Then we evaluate 6-12 months later if they need anymore. Often times I find that 1.5 syringes is the sweet spot where lips look natural but bigger.

Once built and established, you do not need another full syringe, and you probably don’t even need to touch them every year. You will notice you can go longer and longer without needing a touch up, because filler can be semi permanent! And think this goes for the majority. Although, yes some people do break filler down faster than others and need more touch ups. But the people that get a full syringe ever 6 months to a year are the people who end up needing dissolved. My patients who listen to me rarely, if ever need to dissolve.

Ok, there’s not really another treatment option I can think of that gives these kinds of results in 2 weeks with no downtime than Dysport and a customized skin care routine. Ok, maybe sometimes you get a little bruise, so not really 100% no downtime, but still, if you know of a better treatment with better results and super minimal downtime, drop it below because I really can’t think of anything!
