We’re excited to welcome our newest massage therapist, Emilee!

Emilee is a licensed massage therapist with 19 years of experience, having graduated from Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2007. She specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, and overall therapeutic massage, and is especially skilled in helping people with neck tension, tension/ sinus headaches and migraines. She is also a Reiki Practitioner, and received additional training in myofascial release, polarity therapy, hot/ cold therapy, hot stone massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, and Thai massage.

When she isn’t massaging Emilee enjoys being involved in local theatre, learning, teaching, and performing various dance styles, reading, and spending time at the beach.

Emilee will start seeing patients on Monday March 23. She will be in the office Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You can also still schedule appointments with Norma Pakulski.

Happy International Women’s Day. Giving birth with two completely different experiences has changed and empowered me in a way I could never imagine. One very horrific hospital birth followed by a healing homebirth vbac. These have lead me to become such an advocate for women’s health. It’s easy to see the highlight reels.
I get comments about how I seem to “do everything.” Run a busy medical practice, get to the gym, cook healthy meals, homeschool, kids sports.
But I don’t do it alone. I have tons of help and support from family and friends. Being self employed and homeschooling means I have a lot more flexibility in my life. My house is normally a hot mess and I have help with cleaning and laundry. My parents and my husband are my biggest cheerleaders. I also surround myself with people who have similar priorities. I meal prep so I don’t have to cook every night and eat pretty similar meals every week. I prioritize sleep, IVs, acupuncture, massage, sauna & red light to keep me feeling great with energy to last.
So next time you see someone on social media who “has it all together “ remember either they have a great support system or it’s a mirage.
