That is me, Dr. Clark, under all that PPE (this is my typical rounding gear now-a-days). Unfortunately, my heart has been heavy with all the COVID-19 patients that our office has been treating. I know EVERYTHING is so political when it comes to COVID, so I regret to confirm that it is heavy in our area.
We have been using all resources to fight COVID and are thankful for the cases that end up being mild, and rejoice over the ones that were hit hard yet recovered. Our hearts have broken for the ones that didn’t make it (and their loved ones), and we fervently pray for the ones in the hospital fighting for their lives.
As many of you know, I was born and raised here in Port Huron. My patients are very dear to me. I have known many for most of my life—way before they entrusted me to their healthcare. I have been blessed to be the doctor to many for over 24 years. So know that this is personal NOT political to me.
