Dig into gardening fun at Discovery City!🌿🐝

Budding adventurers will branch out through activities like building their very own mini greenhouse, crafting a colorful butterfly to take home, and creating bright pinwheels—perfect for their gardens!

To help the koi fish grow and thrive, we have made the difficult decision to relocate the fish at Discovery City to a larger pond. They will be cared for by the Becker family of Harrison Township, who have extensive experience maintaining both indoor aquariums and a large outdoor pond.

While we will miss the koi—especially Branden and Kelsey—we are confident they will be well cared for in their new home.

The pond removal process will start Friday evening, allowing room for exhibit expansion with minimal impact to Museum hours. We know this exhibit has been a favorite, and we encourage guests to continue enjoying Shelly, Daisy and the other fish at Discovery City.

We are SO HAPPY that you are enjoying our Discovery Labs for Littles! 🎨🔍

Discovery Labs for Littles is replacing our labs that previously took place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This event combines the creativity of our Craft Labs and the exploration of our Discovery Labs into one fun, hands-on STEAM experience for little learners.

This special event takes place every Wednesday and Friday from 10 • 11am, featuring new activities EVERY WEEK in our party room! Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

We had SO much fun at our first day of Discovery Labs for Littles!🏎

Today was packed with excitement as we zoomed our toy cars across the table, dipping their wheels in bright paint to create a rainbow racetrack!

If you’d like to join in on the fun, Discovery Labs for Littles takes place EVERY Wednesday and Friday from 10•11am in our party room. No registration is required, and it’s completely FREE with admission!

March is blooming with fun events at Discovery City!🌼

We’re thrilled to introduce Labs for Littles, a hands-on STEAM adventure designed especially for toddlers! Join us every Wednesday and Friday from 10 • 11am in our party room for engaging, fun-filled projects that spark creativity and curiosity. The best part? No registration required, just drop in and explore! This event is replacing our discovery and craft labs that previously took place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

For our youngest explorers, don’t miss Toddler Time on March 16th from 10 • 11am! This special morning is all about building social and cognitive skills through play. Little ones will enjoy access to the entire Museum, a yummy snack, and interactive story time created just for them.

Hop to the Museum to visit the Easter Bunny! Members of all ages can join us for festive crafts and activities March 29th, from 11am to 1pm!
