Background in family services and working on MSW for Perinatal Mental Health to further impact those she can. My name is Nicole Reynolds and I own Dawning Lace Doula Services. The name Dawning Lace comes from the idea that birth and postpartum is a new "dawn" and that "lace" is intricately intertwined just as a baby in the womb. I have a background in family social work, with extensive experience in observing families that could have benefited from a doula. I'm currently working on my Master's degree to become a Perinatal Mental Health Therapist, as this is a vital piece in this space! I offer pregnancy, birth and postpartum support; grief/loss support for all types of perinatal loss, perinatal mood disorder screenings, and shamanic reiki! A doula can play a vital role in creating a safe space for parents in all areas of the perinatal space. As a doula, especially one with a background in mental health, I can see signs that a typical doula may not. Doula's can be a further stepping stone into getting clients assistance with finding more and more support systems.

You are nourishing your baby. Support matters - refilling water stations, getting lactation cookies, and navigation of "all the things".
