We’re introducing a new surgical animation for the Modular Thumb Implant—designed to give both surgeons and patients a quick overview of the procedure. It also highlights a key part of the recovery process: bone remodeling. In the first year after surgery, the trapezium bone beneath the implant naturally becomes denser and more sclerotic, forming a strong foundation for long-term articulation.

Congratulations to Mark Wade, MD, who performed his first cases with the BioPro Modular Thumb Implant in Fairbanks, AK.
