We've been planning something really fun for Spring!

Join us at Port Huron Museums for a MASQUERADE PARTY! Now, before you worry about finding an outfit, hear us out: The whole point of this event is to wear that thing you never or rarely get to wear. An old bridesmaid dress that looks amazing on you but is impractical for anything else, elaborate renaissance festival garb, your grandpa's powder blue suit, anything goes!

We'll have a cheesecake bar featuring CHEF MIKE'S FAMOUS CHEESECAKE, free tarot readings, our very own Black Magic Joe the magician, and other fun activities along with music and a cash bar.

No Mask? No problem! Stay tuned for information about an opportunity to make your own ahead of time and some other fun partnerships.

This event is for ages 21+ and the online ticket presale starts now! Link in the comments!

Here we go again!
The Mission has remained over capacity this entire week but as we move into the weekend, with dangerously cold temperatures each night, we know the need is going to be even greater.
But we are ready! From coffee and toe-warmers to new cots and sleeping mats, we are well-prepared to welcome our neighbors because of your generosity. Thank you. Please help us spread the word by this post.

When the going gets tough, the Y gets going. 💪💙

At the YMCA of the Blue Water Area, we’re here for our community — especially during challenging times.

If you’re a federal employee impacted by the government shutdown, please know you’re not alone. The Y is offering flexible payment options, financial assistance, and scholarship support to help you and your family stay connected to your health and community. Contact us if you're a Y member or program participant facing uncertainty. We're here to help!

We’re also preparing to support those affected by the potential loss of SNAP/EBT or WIC funding. Our first step: a Pop-Up Food Pantry - open to anyone in need. 🥫💛

📍 Location: YMCA of the Blue Water Area
📅 Date: November 3, 2025
🕒 Time: 9:00 AM
🧭 Location: 1525 3rd St., Port Huron, Michigan

Together, we’ll get through this — because that’s what community is all about. 💙
