Our community is full of vibrant residents, each with a unique life story to tell. Our dedicated Vibrant Living team celebrates this by putting the spotlight on one resident each month.

We conduct a heartfelt interview, gather cherished photos, and create a beautiful display along with a keepsake booklet for other residents to enjoy. The featured resident is then invited to sit in front of their peers alongside our Vibrant Living Director to share their life journey and receive the Brightview Lifetime Legacy Award.

Today, we are honored to celebrate Don Heffron.

We had a spooktacular time at our annual Associate Pumpkin Decorating Contest this year! The creativity was off the charts, and our residents had a blast voting for their favorite designs.

Congratulations to our Senior Housekeeper, Angela, who took home the top prize with her winning pumpkin! Well done, Angela — your creativity truly shined!

Thanks to all who participated and helped make this a fun and festive event for everyone!

The Barnum Pub hosted Oktoberfest!
We had a fantastic afternoon filled with fun, music, and festive spirit. Entertainment was provided by the talented Gregori Mulad, and the event featured exciting activities like the stein-holding competition and a guessing jar. Of course, no Oktoberfest would be complete without a variety of beers and freshly baked pretzels!

A huge thank you to our associates and management team for your participation and support in making this a truly memorable day for our residents!

On Saturday, August 30th, Brightview Port Jefferson hosted their 2nd Annual Wellspring Village Carnival! Our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Wellspring Village neighborhoods came together to raise over $800 for the Alzheimer's Foundation! There were snacks to be had and games to be played, but the real draw was the "reverse dunk tank"! 6 Directors and Vibrant Living Assistants took turns getting "dunked" for charity, raising over $600 from that activity alone! Can't wait till next year!

We wrapped up our Football Kick-Off Weekend with a show-stopping Karaoke Halftime performance—starring our amazing Residents!
Everyone had a blast cheering on their teams, singing their hearts out, and enjoying a day full of fun, laughter, and community spirit. What a game day to remember! Special shout out to our resident Mario as today was his birthday!

Our residents are excited for the start of football season, and we kicked things off with a festive tailgate party! The Denice Given Band provided fantastic live music, and everyone enjoyed classic game day favorites like wings, chips and dip, and Cracker Jacks. It was a great time had by all!
