The John Damianos Memorial run benefits Angela's house, an organization that helps medically fragile children and their families. Go team Moloney!

Dan Moloney, and Danielle Moloney-Hassett were honored to attend a beautiful and meaningful night at the Suffolk County Police Foundation Summer Soirée. Dan is proud to serve as a member of the foundation's board, whose mission is to strengthen resources for the SCPD and build bridges with the communities they serve. The night was filled with heartfelt remarks from honored guests and introductions of the Suffolk County Police Officers who were injured in the line of duty. A special plaque was also presented to the family of Patrolman John J. Nolan, the first SCPD officer to die in the line of duty, which will hang proudly in the 3rd Precinct. It was a spectacular and successful evening!

Fall fairs are in full swing throughout Long Island! Moloney's had a great day at the St. James Chamber Of Commerce street fair this past weekend! We are looking forward to the Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches Fall fair on October 19th, and the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce Fall Fest at Station Yards on October 25th! See you there!

Join us in wishing our colleague Veronica a happy retirement! Veronica has worked with compassion and dedication for over ten years in the finance department; she will be greatly missed! A fun night celebrating her new journey was held in her honor at our staff meeting and Flanagan's Pub.

Dan Moloney Jr. and Nicholas Wheeler, of Moloney Funeral Homes, were hosted by the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Temple, located in Melville, as guests of Girish Patel and Dr. Dharmesh Sutariya. They toured the temple, learning about the culture, beliefs, and the importance of family involvement in their community. Touring the educational facilities was a highlight, as they are quite impressive. Educational classes are held every weekend for young people, educating them early on in the ways of the Hindu faith, culture, and beliefs. Dan and Nicholas were treated to a traditional meal and were honored to speak about Moloney Family Funeral Homes and their relationship with the community. We are grateful for the warmth and friendship shared. We encourage everyone to visit this remarkable place of worship and community.

Pallbearers are an integral part of funeral services. Each pallbearer at Moloney's participates in multiple training sessions to learn protocols and customs, ensuring each family is served with dignity and honor.
