Maryhaven’s Residential Programs are family-like group homes and apartment-style communities where adults with special needs can live an independent, purposeful life with support. In addition to providing housing, we support attaining

the highest quality of life and personal growth by offering life skills and job training opportunities through our Day Habilitation, Vocational Training, and Supportive Work Programs.

Christina and Mary's classroom at Terryville Day Hab invited Maryhaven's Wellness Coordinator, Kristie to a lunch at Hummus Fit. They wanted to share one of the healthy spots they found to eat out at. Christina and Mary encourage the individuals to eat healthy and when they go out to eat they all look for places they can go and enjoy a delicious healthy lunch. This great that this was a classroom decision and lunch was enjoyed by all. They gave Hummus Fit great reviews for the fresh food and wonderful staff and are looking forward to going again soon!

🏆April Living Mission Award🏆

This month Maryhaven honored Rich Cowie with the Mission Award. Rich is an important part of our support services department. He can be seen all over Maryhaven dropping stuff off and fixing things. He has built strong ties with our individuals, and they love seeing him at their day programs and at their homes. Rich lights up when he talks about his interactions throughout his day. With his peers he is looked up to and referred to as the unofficial shop manager. Rich is a great example of the Maryhaven mission. Congratulations Rich!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Terryville Day Hab’s Karaoke night, you all truly made the night unforgettable.

From the amazing voices to the crowd cheering each other on, the energy in the room was incredible. It was so great to see everyone letting loose, having fun, and making memories together.
