It depends on why you’re coming in.

Here’s a simple breakdown:

✔️ Chronic tension or stress?
➡ Every 2–3 weeks can help you stay ahead of the buildup.

✔️ Recovering from an injury?
➡ Weekly sessions (for a short time) support healing and speed up recovery.

✔️ Just want to maintain the good work we’ve done?
➡ Once a month is a great rhythm to keep your body feeling its best.

Remember: massage works best when it’s consistent, not just a one-time fix.

Like going to the gym.

Your quads (quadriceps) are the powerhouse of your legs! 💪 This muscle group, located at the front of your thighs, is made up of four muscles:

✅ Re**us Femoris – Runs down the center, helping with hip flexion & knee extension
✅ Vastus Lateralis – The outer quad, providing stability & power
✅ Vastus Medialis – The inner quad, key for knee alignment & strength
✅ Vastus Intermedius – Lies beneath the re**us femoris, assisting in knee extension

If you love your massage gun, here’s a safety tip: don’t use it on the front or side of your neck. There are delicate blood vessels and nerves there, and aggressive pressure or percussion can be risky. Save the massage gun for larger muscle groups - think shoulders (upper traps), glutes, quads, calves...and keep it on low settings, short durations, and never on bony spots or over injuries.

If your neck is cranky, better options: gentle heat, breath work, posture breaks, and hands-on care from a pro (hi 👋). If you’re unsure, reply and I’ll point you in a safe direction.
