Lavaca Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

This week, our Activity Director, Cory, and Activity Aide, Leah, hosted a spooktacular celebration at Trinity Shores of Port Lavaca!

They hosted a Candy Corn Toss, and the kids had a blast — winners got to "pick their poison" from our Halloween Prize Bucket! 🍬 We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! 🎉

🎉 What a fun day at our Community Bingo Event! Thanks to Payton from New Century Hospice for sponsoring a delicious breakfast with fresh doughnuts and orange juice!

Residents and visitors enjoyed great prizes, blackout gift baskets, and a spooky Boo basket for our lucky door prize winner! 👻💙

🎃👻 Our Halloween Monster Mash Parade was a frightfully fun success! From roaring dinosaurs and mischievous devils to the cutest pumpkins and even a Pink Lady ready for Scrabble — residents brought their A-game! 🦖🕺🎃

Everyone enjoyed nachos and Halloween-themed sweet treats, and it was a howl-tastic night full of laughter, creativity, and community spirit! We're already excited for next year! 💙🕸️

Nothing's sweeter than ice cream and good company! Last week, residents enjoyed an Ice Cream Social — complete with treats, smiles, and a special visit from Debbie with Angel Care! 🍨

We loved learning about the services they provide and are so thankful for the valuable information they shared. A big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for this sweet event! 💙
