Samhain, celebrated from October 31st to November 1st, marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter in Celtic tradition. It’s a time when the veil between the worlds is said to be thinnest, allowing us to honor our ancestors and connect with those who have passed.

This ancient festival is actually the origin of modern Halloween! Traditional customs like lighting bonfires, carving turnips (which later evolved into pumpkins!), and wearing costumes to ward off spirits have transformed over the centuries into the Halloween celebrations we know today.
