St. Joseph Institute

St. Joseph Institute St. Joseph Institute offers compassionate care for adults struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.

Joseph Institute offers a personalized approach to addiction treatment. Unlike most rehab programs, which use group therapy and a “one size fits all” approach, our highly trained counselors work one-on-one to help resolve the underlying issues that so often drive addiction. We believe in a holistic approach that brings healing to the whole person—body, mind, emotions, and spirit—using both state-of-the-art therapies and proven strategies. Our staff has expertise in treating chronic pain, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, and other issues that need to be addressed to achieve lasting recovery. We work with the major insurance companies, striving to make addiction treatment affordable without compromising quality. Located on a beautiful mountain-side in central Pennsylvania, our campus comprises elegant log and stone lodges, miles of walking trails, a spa and wellness center, gym, library, and chapel, and very private grounds, all of which contribute to a successful recovery experience.

You don’t need a “reason” to say no. Let’s make it normal to respect that choice without question—and create spaces where everyone feels included and supported.

What starts as a way to cope can quickly become something that feels out of control. And too often, people struggle in silence.

This month is about changing that. Start the conversation. Support starts here.

The Easter Bunny made a special visit to SJI this weekend, filling hearts with joy—and plenty of candy! 🐰💐

Age didn’t matter as our clients took part in an Easter egg hunt across campus, searching for over 300 eggs and sharing lots of laughter along the way. The day ended with a delicious Easter dinner with all the fixings.

Happy Easter from all of us at SJI! 💙
