We lost one of our therapy horses this year and while we are heart broken Ziggy did so much for the program. Ziggy was 41 and lived a long life that included showing, jumping, and equine therapy. He was patient, sweet, loved the kids and taught many to ride. If you are interested in donating during Centre Gives and want your donation to be in his memory, please PM us and let us know you donated in his memory.

Mariah was a fan of the watermelon as well!

Cahoots is Kramers pasture buddy and he did not like the watermelon. He wouldn’t even try it 😂

We tried the watermelon challenge with the horses at the farm. As you can see Chip liked it!

Centre Gives starts tomorrow morning! Today’s highlighted horse is Kermit. He is a 23 years old, furry white pony. Kermit is a great all purpose pony who has done it all - hunter and jumper shows, dressage, and x-country. He loved trail riding, but due to asthma and seasonal allergies which make it hard for him to breathe, he enjoys the slower pace of life at HOTR. He enjoys the at risk youth program and an occasional rider for short easy trips around the ring. Your donations will help with Kermit’s allergy medicine.
