It has been an honor and a privilege to work with families here in Port Orange. I want to acknowledge how hard it can be for anyone to share their child's life struggles with a stranger. I appreciate the trust that's been extended to me and the efforts made to help these children be better versions of themselves.
After serving kids and families in this area for four years through Connection Counseling LLC on Ridgewood and then at the Center for Behavioral Medicine, I will be relocating to Indianapolis to begin serving full-time as a children’s minister. I love the one on one relationship building and growth that happens as I counsel kids, but I feel a definite call to return to facilitating children’s spiritual development, especially in light of the increasingly difficult times in which we find ourselves living. Before counseling full time, I was a children’s minister for fourteen years. I will be responsible for structuring the ministry for birth to fourth graders, supporting parents in the spiritual shepherding of their children, and working with 100+ volunteers. My last day here in the office is today, August 7. Thank you for your trust and well wishes. Blessings on all who have connected here.

Parents need to stop beating themselves up over deciding to put their child on medication. And parents that choose not to need to stop telling the parents that do medicate that they are being dumb. Choose what's right for your child by getting the facts. And if you don't love someone with ADHD and do not know the facts, then keep your opinions to yourself.”
