Today we celebrated our past and present gorgeous 💐 grandmas with trivia games on celebrity grandma’s and getting our nails done.💅 We finished up last-minute touches on the ‘grandma frame’ for our photo session 📸 enjoyed grandmas famous flower cookies and shared our favorite memories with our grandmothers—
Jessica: “Mine was that we would water her hibiscus 🌺 every morning before school.”

Audrey: “My grandmother would make Sunday breakfast before church.”

Ginny: “My grandmother taught me her chocolate chip cookie recipe that she’s so famously known for today”

Linda: “Mine would read her stories at bed when her mom was doing house chores.”

We had a blast with nature trivia in our own backyard! We explored and learned about the different plants and flowers. Vicky loved the majestic Norfolk Island pine🌲, Audrey fell in love with the hibiscus 🌺, and John discovered the crepe-myrtle, a tree from Southeast Asia and Northern Australia 🌳.

Fourth of July and National Raspberry Day this month started with morning meditation and church service with our lovely ladies. Then, we made ‘Thank You’ cards for our volunteers and enjoyed sweet raspberry thumbprint cookies 🍪. On the Fourth, we got creative with indoor fireworks 🎆, painting patriotic art with forks for extra fun. We grooved to patriotic tunes, did trivia, and cooled off with red, white, and blue ice pops! 🇺🇸 Fun fact: The Declaration of Independence wasn't signed by all 56 delegates on July 4th— the signing was completed on August 2nd.

The fun has been non-stop— Game on! 🕹️ We all had an absolute blast at the Pac-Man Party a couple weeks ago. Everyone loved creating their own Pac-Man players and enjoyed veggie trays topped with classic arcade characters. It was a day filled with smiles and nostalgia.
