🪴ACUPUNCTURE HISTORY🍵
The earliest forms of acupuncture didn’t use needles at all—but stones & bone tools to activate healing!
🌿 Acupuncture is one of the world’s oldest continuously practiced healing systems. Rooted in principles like yin & yang, meridians, and restoring balance within the body-these ancient practices continue to support healing, pain relief, & whole-body wellness today.
🦴 In ancient China, during the Shang Dynasty (1600–1046 BCE), people recorded health concerns on oracle bones-often ox shoulder blades & turtle shells, used to seek insight into illness & healing. These weren’t acupuncture treatment plans, but they reflect an early desire to understand the body, to restore balance.
🪨 As time evolved, early tools like Bian stones were used to stimulate the body—laying the groundwork for what would later become acupuncture.
📜 By around 200 BCE, foundational texts like the Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic)began to formalize the system-introducing concepts like meridians, Qi, & point-based treatment.
