Dr. Greg Fox (retired) was my first Chiropractor. He changed my life. I was told by my medical doctor when I was 17 that I had "Sciatica" and there was nothing I could do but take medications. He went on to say that it would come and go, and indeed it did. Many times it was very debilitating! When a friend of my parents said, "You should go to a Chiropractor," I went to the closest Chiropractor to my home at the time and I learned that the information I got was not true. I healed with Chiropractic care and changed the direction of my life, and I became a Chiropractor! 30 years last month, I have been helping others who still get told similar information. We are here to help you. Dr. Jennifer Sansen

I've been getting asked for my thoughts on the new US Dietary Guidelines released yesterday by the HHS. You can find the overview on realfood.gov. As we all know, food has always been a charged topic. Everyone has an opinion because everyone has unique needs and experiences with it. Collectively, food sits at the intersection of culture, health, access, identity, science, and economics. So it is not surprising that new dietary guidelines spark strong reactions.

In this era of great division, rather than getting pulled into polarized debates, I think it is worth stepping back and focusing on what actually unites us regarding these guidelines. One thing stuck with me was the headline as well as the website:

Eat Real Food.

Foods that look like they came from the earth or sea. Foods that are minimally processed. Foods with recognizable ingredients. Foods prepared and eaten with intention. Across cultures, cuisines, and dietary preferences, there is broad agreement on one foundational principle.

Dietary guidelines are written for populations, not individuals. They are meant to guide policy and public health, not dictate how every person should eat. Real nourishment does not come from chasing macronutrient targets or debating single nutrients in isolation. It comes from patterns. Meals built around whole foods, natural colors, diversity, and the rhythm of the day and seasons. It comes from paying attention to how food fits into our bodies, our lives, and our cultures.

When we return to real food, the body often becomes a better guide than any headline or guideline. If we start there, many of the debates tone down. There is room for differences in protein sources, fat choices, and carbohydrate tolerance. There is room for personalization, life stage, and metabolic individuality.

At a time when food conversations feel increasingly divisive, returning to this shared foundation matters. Let's continue to find our similarities and what we can share as people.

✅Eat real food.
✅Build meals with natural colors and diversity.
✅Honor rhythm and context.

The best way to satisfy hunger and stop overeating is to consume the right amount of protein.

The right amount of protein will give your body what it needs without converting to sugar or fat.

✅ What to Look for in an LED Device — TOTAL POWER OUTPUT 💥💪

When choosing an LED device, it’s important to consider certain key factors: the correct wavelength, power density, total power output, depth of pe*******on and treatment time.
Today we’re covering Total Power Output—a critical spec that many people overlook.

🔋 This tells you how much total light energy your device emits, typically measured in milliwatts (mW) or watts (W).

✅ Therapeutic benchmark: Look for devices with at least 5,000–10,000 mW
✅ Higher output = larger coverage, faster sessions, better outcomes
✅ LZR UltraBright comes in 10,000 mW (10W) and 20,000 mW (20W) models — both clinical-grade

⚠️ A device with weak total output may be fine for cosmetic use but won’t deliver deep therapeutic benefits—especially when addressing joints, nerves, or larger muscle groups.

💡 Pro Tip: Total power matters just as much as power density — the more output, the more efficient your sessions will be across larger focus areas.

✨ The LZR UltraBright combines massive power output with clinically validated wavelengths (810 nm and 660 nm), giving you professional-level energy delivery in a compact, easy-to-use system. 🧠
🔬 We’re not making any claims; we’re simply sharing research to help you ask better questions. ❓

Why Chiropractic?

When I was around 16 years old I started to have severe back pain with pain down my leg. My parents did what all good parents do and took me to the family Doctor. He told me “You have Sciatica, there is nothing you can do about it, It will come and go, and here is somc pain medication”. He also said, “I have it too”, like that was supposed to make me feel better. He was right, it did come and go. Several years later while I was attending Veterinary Technician School I met a family that saw me suffering and told me I should go to a Chiropractor. I didnt know anything about Chiropractic, but as soon as I got home, I found the closest Chiropractor to where I lived and went. Turns out My family Doctor was wrong, I didnt have to “live with it”! That was a very important moment of my life. Now 25 years as a Chiropractor later, I have the privilege of helping others everyday with all sorts of health challenges.
