How special is Delilah, our Founder?? Most of you know, but just in case you need a reminder, the Library of American Broadcasting summed it up beautifully in this award presentation. Congratulations to Mama Delilah!

Syndicated radio personality Delilah (center) received the fourth annual Insight Award from the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation (LABF) at the 2025 NAB Show on Monday, April 7th, in Las Vegas, Nev. The award recognized Delilah’s history of excellence in broadcasting and her profound impact on audiences nationwide.

Delilah is the most-listened-to woman on radio in the U.S. with an audience of more than eight million weekly listeners on approximately 160 radio stations nationwide. Delilah, known as “radio’s Oprah,” celebrated 50 years of radio broadcasting in 2024 and has been hosting her current program format since 1984.

“Delilah’s extraordinary ability to connect with listeners, her passion for storytelling, and her unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others exemplified the essence of the Insight Award,” said LABF Co-Chairs Heidi Raphael, Beasley Media Group Chief Communications Officer, and Jack Goodman, longtime D.C.-based communications attorney. “We were thrilled to honor her remarkable contributions to broadcasting.”

Reflective of LABF’s purpose, the Insight Award recognizes an individual or organization for an outstanding artistic or journalistic work or body of work that enhances the public’s understanding of the role, operation, history, or impact of media in our society. Past recipients include actor, director, and educator LeVar Burton, CBS News’ 60 Minutes, and award-winning producer and journalist Soledad O’Brien.

About the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation:
The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Library of American Broadcasting, one of the nation’s most extensive collections of broadcast history, policy, and tradition. In addition, the LABF presents the annual Giants of Broadcasting event, which pays tribute to trailblazers in the radio and television industry.

Point Hope Ghana’s eye health project is changing lives and saving eyes. 👀

Eyes Of Hope Vision Centre, established in October 2023 is making a huge impact in their community. The concept of eye health and preventative care being taught by our gifted staff is catching on. Education and outreach is key, Mr. Nyan is proud and grateful to have benefited from the opportunity.

Meet Joseph Kweku Nyan, a 62-year-old carpenter who’s taking his eye health seriously! After we prescribed and dispensed protective goggles for him, he sent us a photo proudly showing that he's a compliant client. Now, for the first time, Joseph is working in his woodshop while safely guarding his eyes—as every craftsman should.

Your eye health matters, no matter your age or profession. If you want to be responsible and safer than ever, come visit Eyes of Hope Vision Centre. We’re here to meet all your eyecare needs because healthy eyes mean a brighter future!

Visit our clinic for free eye screening. You can reach us on 054 211 5312 for any enquiries.

Wishing you a great weekend—and remember to keep the windows to your body safe!😊

Point Hope Ghana continues to serve people well through their newest project, Eyes Of Hope Vision Centre. They have seen over 3,000 people , many of whom had never been to have the eyes examined due to lack of funds or lack of education about the importance of eye health. We appreciate our many partners in this project, especially Eyes of Faith Optical, without whom we would not be on the ground serving this community today.

We want to take this opportunity to say “Thank you” to our many partners and friends for your support this past year and to highlight Eyes of Faith Optical in particular. It is through their initiative that Point Hope Ghana and Eyes Of Hope Vision Centre (EoH) were able to provide FREE screening to almost 3,000 people for vision healthcare in the 15 months since the EoH project was launched. And now they are helping to grow the project with regional lens laboratory, which will impact thousands of more people in need of quality and affordable eye care.

If you need quality eyewear AND want to support a mission that is impacting lives on a daily basis, contact Jim & Amy at Eyes of Faith (EOF)—they are spectacular!

As we reflect on this past year, our hearts are filled with gratitude for your impact. Together, we’ve been able to make a meaningful difference in vision care for thousands of people in Ghana, West Africa, at the Eyes Of Hope Vision Centre. In 2025, we are excited to announce that the team at Eyes of Hope will be equipped to edge and cut lenses at Eyes of Hope, transforming their sustainable clinic into a regional lab.

As we look toward celebrating 15 years in 2025, we remain deeply committed to this mission. However, as an independent company, we rely on your continued partnership and support to sustain and grow our efforts. Every purchase, referral, and prayer helps us continue this journey of faith and service.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of our story and for sharing our passion to reflect God’s love in all we do. We are excited for what lies ahead and look forward to making an even greater impact together in 2025.

Stay tuned for more details about the 2025 launch of SIMON PETER, our new designer, 3D-printed collection. This is going to be an incredibly innovative way to kick off our 15-year celebration!

We wish you a very merry Christmas and a joyful new year filled with hope and vision for a brighter future.

3 years ago Point Hope Ghana was serving in their community and 3 years later—they still are! Shout out to their enduring legacy!

In October, Point Hope donated 80 pieces of roofing sheets to a local public school, Apra SDA Basic and Junior High School, in the Gomah East District of the Central Region. Point Hope has purchased land and is building “Point Hope Village” just down the road from this school; hopefully there will soon be students living in the homes we are building who will attend here.

Our outreaches for nutrition, health, and other community events have already included students, families and teachers from the Apra community. It was a natural choice to contribute to a new structure they are building because of their need to meet Covid-19 protocols. The new structure will provide more space among the students and will be occupied by grades 7th and 8th students. The roofing sheets, received gratefully by the head teacher, assistant head teachers, and some students, cost a total amount of Six Thousand One Hundred and Twenty Ghana cedis (6,120.00). They could not hide their joy and gratitude to Point Hope for the kind gesture.
