🎄 Grinch Saga, episode 6 💚:

In closing out the Grinch's rehabilitation journey at Life Care Center of Port Orchard, he met with home health and had a discharge care conference today. From grumpy beginnings to a heartfelt ending, the Grinch has completed his stay and is ready to sleigh his next chapter. 🛷 The Grinch's discharge was agreed upon by him and his care team. Because even the Grinch deserves a safe and successful transition home... ❤️

🎄 Grinch Saga, episode 5 💚:

🖍️ Even the Grinch can't resist spreading cheer! From joining activities with our residents to snapping a festive photo with Santa at our open house, hearts grew three sizes today! 🎅

🎄 Grinch Saga, episode 4 💚:
Grinch has wrapped up his first few days at LCCPO, and rehab is off to a great start! 😄

✅ Dietitian: evaluated Grinch and reviewed nutrition needs for recovery, meal plans, and special diet orders.
✅ Dietary Manager: evaluated Grinch for food preferences to support good appetite and consider all medical, cultural, and personal needs.
✅ Physical Therapy: Grinch is currently non-weight bearing and was assessed for wheelchair mobility that included education on limitations and safe wheelchair use. Healing is in progress, and Grinch is so proud to be one step stronger already.

🎄 In collaboration with the South Kitsap Chamber of Commerce Community, Life Care Center of Port Orchard hosted its Holiday Open House and ribbon-cutting ceremony. ✂️ Members of the Chamber, City Council, local hospitals and assisted livings were in attendance.

We were so proud to show off our facility-wide newly renovated flooring. 😊 Facility tours and pictures with Santa were among the festive fun. 🎅 Thank you to all community members who made this event happen. We're excited for our bright future at our beautiful, newly renovated facility! 🌟
