Beauty Berry.

American Beautyberry (Callicarpa americana) is a native North American shrub long appreciated for both its striking clusters of vivid purple berries and its traditional place in regional herbal knowledge. Historically, Indigenous communities and early American settlers used different parts of the plant in topical preparations and household applications, often incorporating the leaves, roots, and bark into washes or poultices as part of traditional wellness practices. Crushed leaves were also commonly rubbed on the skin or around living spaces as a natural way to discourage insects, a use that has drawn modern scientific interest for its aromatic compounds.

American beautyberry is most often celebrated in herbalism for its ethnobotanical history, ecological importance as a wildlife-supporting plant, and its role in demonstrating how native plants have shaped traditional practices.

Here we are harvesting leaves and drying them for our Buzz Off B!$CH!! All natural Insect repellent! Infusing begins today!! Hopefully the batch is complete by Saturday for Freakshow!!!!

We ran some inventory catch up while hanging out with our The Funk family and recording some things for a news spot. 🤣🤣 All while hanging out with all the incredible local artists I share space with here and now a local celebrity?!
Why yes I did almost have a whole panic attack. I’m fine. It’s fine.

PhilmyPortraits and Sean Daly from Tampa Bay 28 were in the house! Are you kidding me! Is this my life?! 😭 I feel so thankful for all of this. ❤️

I LOVE y’all. Freakshow is on Saturday my friends. I had better see you! 🤨6-10pm. I’ll be inside with some fun herb education and experiences including PRODUCT GRAB BAGS!!!!!
