So, I was a heavy smoker for many years. I was 8 when I started smoking; this was also the time when I started cutting school (yes, I was 8, LOL). My first symptoms of ADHD went unnoticed then because it was a boy's problem back then ( GenX), and I was a generally good (inattentive sub-type) kid.
Anyway, I stopped smoking in about 2009 with the help of va**ng. It took me years of va**ng to wean myself off the ni****ne. I started with 36 MG and weaned myself to 2 MG over the course of about 10 years.
During the pandemic, I had anosmia, then phantosmia, then hyposmia. Part of my phantosmia was cigarette smoke, I was so depressed about my sense of smell being gone because I had just finished my certification.
I almost started smoking ci******es again because of the constant odor for months. Instead, I decided to make myself an inhaler to use.
Anyway, 10% Black Pepper and 40% Peppermint were the main essential oils I considered, Black Pepper is thought to help with cravings, and Peppermint was because I smoked menthol, and I knew it would seem cooling like a menthol cigarette, along with 30% Bergamot (anxiety) and 20% Vetiver (grounding). I have no science to back this blend up, I can only say I feel like it helped my cravings.
So try it out in an inhaler if you are still smoking or va**ng. Maybe it will help you too.
