We offer a full range of healthcare services to Florida�s Treasure Coast, including emergency care in a senior-friendly emergency room (ER) that caters to the unique needs of older adults. We provide rehabilitation, obstetrics, orthopedic care and inpatient and outpatient surgery, including minimally invasive robotic procedures. Our hospital is home to the Advanced Wound Center and the Chest Pain Center, the first and only area facility to receive full accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. 🌸 Compassionate care makes all the difference. For this week's , we're sharing the story of Emily and Zachary, who recently welcomed their second child through a planned gentle C-section, and they couldn’t be more grateful for the care they received.

"I could see the birth, and our baby was with me for a good period of time afterwards. That was really important to me and a real comfort to have that time together,” Emily shared. “The nurses were really good in there. Very welcoming and confident in making sure this was a great experience," Zachary added.

According to the &LymphomaSociety, about every three minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma – the most common types of blood cancer. Blood cancer is caused by DNA mutations within blood cells. In most cases, this is linked to factors beyond our control, like age, ethnicity and family history. This Blood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re answering common questions by sharing the facts shown here.

Jean, a recent patient, was recovering on our Surgical Progressive Care Unit (pictured) after hip surgery. She was comforted by the team's attentiveness and kindness: "I'd put my light on they'd come right away, they never left me hanging. You can see how all the nurses treat the patients and each other with respect. I felt very welcome, and that was important to me! Nurses came to visit, even from other floors that had cared for me, just to check up on how I was progressing. When Sofia Otero first walked into HCA Florida Capital Hospital as a college volunteer, she never imagined she’d soon be making such a powerful impact on patients’ lives. Inspired by the care her own family received, she felt called to give back.
