How yummy are these Visiting Angels cookies?! 🤩💙
We’re celebrating today with a little sweetness.
In honor of National Cookie Day, here’s a simple and delicious sugar cookie recipe you can make at home:
✨ Classic Sugar Cookies ✨
Ingredients:
• 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp baking powder
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• ½ tsp almond extract (optional)
• 3 tbsp milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
4. Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
5. Gradually blend in dry ingredients, adding milk as needed.
6. Roll into balls or cut into shapes, then place on a baking sheet.
7. Bake 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
