Florida Orthopaedics Specialists: A Culture of Caring in the Pursuit of Excellence

We currently have an opening for an X-Ray Technician primarily at our Port Saint Lucie location. Travel may be required as Florida Orthopaedic Specialists has two office locations.

1 year of professional X-Ray technician experience preferred.

Candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) es**rting patients to x-ray suite, performing x-rays, copy and import CD's and various other tasks. Must have excellent communication skills. Experience on PACS system preferred but not required. Must have high school diploma, current x-ray technician license, and be able to pass a background check.

We currently have an opening for a Medical Assistant & Surgery Scheduler primarily at our Port Saint Lucie location. Travel may be required as Florida Orthopaedic Specialists has two office locations.

Candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) scheduling patients for surgeries, screen patients, es**rt patients to exam rooms, perform vitals, prepare meds for physician to administer, phone calls, some authorizations and various other tasks. Must be able to multi task and have excellent communication skills. Certification is preferred but 1 year of experience as a medical office assistant can be substituted,. Must have a high school diploma and be able to pass a background check. Please submit resume with minimum salary requirements.

We currently have an opening for a Physical Therapist primarily at our Port Saint Lucie location. Travel may be required as Florida Orthopaedic Specialists has two office locations.

Candidate will be responsible for evaluating and delivering appropriate care to patients with a variety of orthopaedic diagnosis. Restore patient's function, alleviates pain, and prevent disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.

2 years of professional PT experience with emphasis on Outpatient Orthopaedics preferred. Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required. Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success. Basic computer skills required. CPR training preferred.

Candidate will devise a detailed treatment and car plan for each patient, communicate and coordinate with patients' physicians to ensure consistent level of care, exercise independent judgement based on experience to implement effective treatment combinations, evaluate and report on patients' progress, assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries, comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations.
