🫀 This test didn’t just help my dad — it saved his life.

My dad felt fine.
No chest pain. No warning signs.

But a Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) scan told a very different story.

That one scan revealed advanced coronary artery disease.
When further testing was done, we learned the truth:

➡️ He was living on collateral circulation- feeder vessels.
➡️ He required an urgent quadruple bypass.

Had this gone undetected, the outcome could have been catastrophic.

This is why I take cardiovascular prevention so seriously.

Filler dissolving experiment

As a clinician, I wanted to demonstrate how hylenex (hyaluronidase)works on a high G’ HA filler outside the body. Using one vial of Hylenex, the filler dissolved very quickly in an in-vitro (in the filler package) setting. Clinically, however, filler dissolution often requires multiple treatmentsin an emergency multiple vials), as product resides in different tissue planes and compartments under the skin.

Menopause Hormone Therapy (HRT): Updated FDA Safety Language
What changed (Nov 2025): The FDA removed the previous bold “boxed warning” that broadly linked HRT to heart disease, stroke, breast cancer, and dementia. Labels will now focus on who benefits most and how to use HRT safely. (The warning about uterine cancer with estrogen-alone still applies if you have a uterus—this is why we pair estrogen with progesterone or use different options.)
