5 Simple ways to increase longevity!

Dr William Li says:

Drivers of healthy aging are simple, repeatable habits that support the body over time. They do not need to be dramatic to be effective.
If you want practical places to begin, here are five worth focusing on this week.

1. Create a consistent overnight fasting window
Aim for about 12 hours between dinner and breakfast when it fits your lifestyle. This can help support metabolic health and reduce late-night grazing.

2. Walk after meals
A 10-minute walk after lunch or dinner is one of the simplest ways to support blood sugar control, circulation, and digestion.

3. Finish meals a little earlier than usual
Long-lived populations often practice modest eating rather than chronic excess. Try stopping when comfortably satisfied instead of overly full.

4. Add one protective food every day
Beans, berries, leafy greens, nuts, olive oil, tomatoes, tea, yogurt, and seafood are all associated with healthier aging patterns.

5. Invest in social connection
Strong relationships are consistently linked to better health and longer life. Reach out to someone this week, share a meal, or make plans to connect.

Longevity is rarely the result of one breakthrough intervention. More often, it reflects the accumulation of everyday choices that help the body stay resilient.

This is also supported by the number of centenarians in the Blue Zones.

Our Story

Private Chef, Personal Chef, Caterer, Meal Prep, Cooking Lessons, Food Service/Business Consulting, Food Styling Assistant

Tracey is a classically trained chef who graduated with honors from The Culinary Institute of America’s, San Antonio campus. She developed her love and passion for food at a very young age, growing up in the south end of Hartford, Connecticut’s Little Italy.

Her passion grew during her 23 year career in the United States Air Force. She had the opportunity to live in and visit countries such as England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Scotland and Wales. The universal language in all of those countries is food. The offerings at the table are distinct.

Currently a member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA), Tracey brings her flair for global cuisine to her private clients. Classic, time-tested recipes with a new twist, exotic cuisines or a memory of your favorite vacation spot may inspire her menus. Regardless, her commitment to using the freshest ingredients without adding any preservatives or artificial additives allows her food to shine.
