I grew up in Howard Beach NY just outside Kennedy Airport. I had always wanted to be a veterinarian. I studied hard to get good grades, went to SUNY at Buffalo and then moved to Gainesville FL to try to get in the Vet school down there.
I was working on being a veterinarian working in clinics and research facilities. I then was working in the outpatient equine barn at UF in Gainesville, FL and was interviewed by Dean Himes. I only had to continue working there another season and I was in. I had worked many years to get there. I remember I would go to Dr Chance, a chiropractor in Gainesville, for my ganglion cyst in my wrist. One day I was cleaning up a stall when something in my back popped and I had pain into my thighs. I saw Dr. Chance who then put me on some blocks (SOT technique), and after a few minutes something in my back popped and the pain went away.
I had close friend at Life College, and told her what happened. I had a change of heart and went to Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. There I met my first wife, we married just before graduation. She had two young girls, both of whom worked for me. Meaghan remains my office manager. We moved to Port St Lucie in 1986 as it was booming then. Within a week of opening my practice my third daughter was born. Since then the kids have grown up, I have 6 grandsons down here, and two grandchildren up north from wife Mindy.
I have been serving the Treasure Coast helping people get healthier and recover from back and neck pain as well as injuries in car accidents, work injuries, sports injuries and lifes stresses. In my office I do 7 different chiropractic techniques from hands on to low force instrument adjusting. We also offer non surgical spinal decompression on our DRX9000 which can prevent spinal surgery. We do cold laser therapy to help pain and accelerate healing with out Thor Laser. We offer phyiscal therapy/rehab using the Synergy Therapeutic rehab system. There is massage therapy, weight loss, Functional Medicine offered as wel.
