Ever wonder why you have neck pain? Or maybe you don’t have neck pain and think this doesn’t apply to you . Quick test : clasp your hands behind your back and pull to stretch your chest and shoulders . Look up while you are doing this.

If you can’t do this or it’s painful or tight, chances are you have forward head posture .

Having your head out of alignment like this causes contraction of your anterior neck muscles and chest muscles. This happens to support the extra weight you are putting forward. Subsequently , your shoulders will also round forward.

Over time , your body adapts to this holding pattern . Massage and chiropractic care help retrain the body and restore proper alignment.
