Patient of the Month: Florence Blanch
Florence “Flo” Blanch has been receiving physical therapy for over six months following a major back surgery that left her with sudden numbness from the waist down. Her goal when starting therapy was simple but meaningful—to regain her independence and take care of herself again.
Through dedication to therapy and completing her home exercises most days, Flo has made incredible progress. One milestone she is especially proud of is being able to climb stairs again.
Today, Flo no longer needs her wheelchair and has regained the ability to clean her home, cook, change her sheets, and enjoy activities she loves—like visiting Hobby Lobby or taking her dog for a walk around the block.
