Plaquemines Primary Care and Plaquemines Medical Center had a great time at Boothville-Venice Elementary School's Meet and Greet. We passed out school supplies and spoke to the parents about Plaquemines Primary Care's School-Based Health Center Program.

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 3 PM—5 PM, Plaquemines Medical Center, in partnership with Plaquemines Primary Care and Healthy Blue, will host its 8th annual Back-to-School drive, but with a twist: We will have a Back-to-School Social Bash. Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon with FREE refreshments, music, games, resources, and more. Of course, we will have FREE backpacks filled with school supplies and supply kits for children in K-6th grades. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! Please remember that the students must be present to receive the supplies. The event will be located at the Rev. Percy M. Griffin Community Center (Davant Community Center)
