Well one of my worst nightmares happened about a month ago, I fell while roller skating on the winter solstice (I was literally on cloud nine having so much fun, until I wasn’t). What I had hoped was going to be a rest and elevate situation turned into needing surgery. I had a complete tear of the ulnar collateral ligament at my thumb, this ligament does so much for stabilizing and gripping and due to the severity of the injury it was not going to heal on its own. Luckily the surgery went smoothly now I am resting and healing and will start hand therapy next week! I have had so many emotional insights arise over the past month and feel immense self growth in areas that weren’t previously illuminated, pain is such an effective teacher! I look forward to sharing more of this when the time is right. But I so so appreciate all of the kind words and offerings from everyone it really has meant so much to me 💓

Such a fun girls backpacking trip this past weekend in the seven lakes basin! No matter how tired I am getting out on the trail always replenishes my mind, body and soul. Lots of laughter helps too. We saw soo many black bears, mushrooms and moss! Glad to be entering the slower season of fall 🍁🍂🍃

Happy Lunar New Year! It is the year of the 🐰, lots of that energy in my household. The year of the rabbit symbolizes prosperity, longevity & fertility (no surprise there)! We can expect this year to be filled with relaxation, fluidity & contemplation. ❤️

Here’s what I’ve been up to lately! Besides taking a much needed break from social media.
•I am participating in a 10 week program with Ayurvedic practitioner and about 10 other women! We are establishing nourishing daily habits grounded in Ayurvedic traditions while changing our diet to fit a functional medicine protocol. I am feeling more connected to myself then I have in years! I highly recommend checking out Sarah’s website she is a beautiful human 💓. •This weekend I have taken a deep dive into the art of Craniosacral Therapy . I am finding myself challenged by the soft approach to the body as I love deep tissue work! But I see the benefits of learning a softer approach! I’m excited to practice these techniques and see where this knowledge can take me 💆🏻‍♀️.
I love that my job keeps me grounded and constantly curious!
