Today we came together to celebrate someone incredibly special to San Juan Villa—Salai.
For the past seven years, Salai has poured her heart into this community. She has been a steady hand, a compassionate presence, and a trusted teammate. Whether it was a quiet moment with a resident or a team effort during challenging times, Salai always showed up—with grace, patience, and unmatched dedication.
Her work here has touched so many lives—residents, families, and staff alike. She has helped shape the heart of San Juan Villa, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
But unlike most goodbyes, this one is not final—and that makes it all the sweeter.
We are thrilled to share that Salai is not going far—she is transferring to Laurel Place in Port Angeles. Though she won’t be walking our halls every day, we know the same compassion and excellence she brought here will now bless the team and residents at Laurel Place.
It’s comforting to know she’s still within our Caring Places family, just a car ride and a smile away. We hope this next chapter brings her fresh inspiration, warm connections, and continued joy in doing what she does best—caring deeply for others.
Salai, thank you for everything. San Juan Villa will always be home to you. We wish you the very best at Laurel Place—you’ve earned every bit of success, respect, and love coming your way.
