We're proud to introduce our newest associate, Rachel Fenton, Psy.D

Specialties: Adolescent and Adult Individuals, Complex Trauma, BIPOC
I am a graduate from The George Washington University’s Professional Psychology Doctoral program and have experience treating adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health difficulties. I have provided individual and group psychological services in various settings including inpatient and outpatient, as well as within an addiction treatment center. I also have experience providing psychological assessments to individuals seeking asylum. The basis of my training and approach to treatment is psychodynamic, but I tend to navigate treatment using an integrative lens. I have particular success working with individuals presenting with complex trauma and/or racial trauma, as both can be one in the same. Specifically, my interests include providing compassionate and culturally competent care to Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC). For all of my patients, I believe in treatment that is tailored to the specific needs of the individual while at the same time providing a space that is conducive for the utmost vulnerability and authenticity.
