July is Disability Pride Month!

While Disability Pride is celebrated all year long, July commemorates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a law that prohibits discrimination based on disability and guarantees equal access to public spaces, workplaces, and more.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the ADA. It's a special time to honor the achievements, history, and strength of people with disabilities.

Everyone deserves to have the tools and support they need to live a full and active life, and we at Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare are proud to support this mission.

Today, March 25th, is Cerebral Palsy (CP) Awareness Day. partnered with CPATHtexas, a nonprofit that offers resources for children with CP, to connect with families who use our products and get their feedback.

Through them we met SaBella, a busy sixth grader with CP who is always on the move and uses our Moxie GT Trainer to support her growing independence. "When she's using these products, she can do anything she wants to do," said mom Casey.

Today we celebrate the strength and resilience of individuals like SaBella, while raising awareness of the work that still needs to be done to build a more supportive and inclusive world for people living with cerebral palsy.
