Recently, our seniors spent the afternoon spreading love where it matters most ❤️

They had so much fun creating handmade Valentine’s cards for our veterans as a small token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice. From heartfelt messages to lots of creativity, every card was made with gratitude and love.

We are so proud of our residents for giving back and reminding us all that a little kindness goes a long way—especially to those who have given so much for us. 💕✨

Happy National Activity Professionals Week! 🎉💙

Today, we’re excited to spotlight Kim, a valued member of our Life Enrichment team. Kim has been with Heritage for three years, and her love for engaging residents shines through in everything she does.

Her favorite activity to lead is Trivia, which residents absolutely love and always look forward to. Outside of work, Kim’s favorite role is being a grandma—she treasures spending time with her grandchildren baking and doing activities together. 🍪👵 A fun fact about Kim—she remodeled a 1903 Victorian home into a bed and breakfast and owned and operated it in Port Washington for several years!

Thank you, Kim, for the warmth, creativity, and joy you bring to our residents every day—we’re so grateful to have you on the Heritage team! 🌟

Our Baking Club had a fantastic time last week making a delicious Irish Cream Bundt Cake! From mixing the ingredients to savoring the final result, it was a sweet afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and great company. 🤍

Yesterday, we had the honor of delivering lunch to some of the incredible men and women who serve and protect our community every single day. This year, our Christmas tree is decorated with something a little extra special — hand-knitted hats made with love for those in need during the cold winter months. Each hat represents a warm hug we’re sending out into our community. 🧤🧣✨

We invite you to join us in spreading kindness! If you’d like to contribute, you can drop off hats, gloves, scarves, or other cozy winter items at our Giving Tree anytime this season. Every donation makes a difference and helps keep someone warm. ❄️💛
