Join the Resilient Reflections Winter Wellness Group

As the days grow shorter and colder, many of us notice subtle shifts in our mood, energy, and motivation. The winter and holiday season can be a time of joy and connection — but for many, it also brings feelings of grief, loneliness, financial stress, and emotional overwhelm.

This group was created to remind you: you’re not alone, and healing happens through reflection, movement, and community. Together, we’ll slow down, breathe, and make space for both light and shadow this season.

🌬️ What to Expect:

💡 Tips to manage Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

💬 A safe space for grief, stress, and emotional processing

🧘🏾‍♀️ Gentle somatic movement and breathwork practices

🌿 Weekly reflections and grounding rituals

☀️ Tools to cultivate balance, calm, and resilience

You deserve to feel supported, seen, and centered — even when life feels heavy.
Let’s move through this season with intention, compassion, and community.

🍂 Goodbye October, Hello November.
Fall has always been one of my favorite teachers.

In eco-psychology, we talk about how the cycles of nature mirror our own inner cycles — reminding us that change, release, and stillness are not endings but part of renewal.

The trees don’t fight to hold on. They let their leaves fall — layer by layer — trusting that rest and regeneration will come.

October invited me to do the same: to walk, to breathe, to reflect, and to let go of what no longer serves.

As we move into November, may we remember that slowing down is sacred.

Movement, community, and mindfulness keep us grounded through every season. 🌿

Here’s to walking gently into this new month — rooted, resilient, and ready to bloom again. 🌸

I had an amazing time presenting The Food–Mood Connection at IU!

It was inspiring to meet so many incredible people who are making a difference in their communities and supporting families through food security and wellness initiatives.

Our conversation explored how what we eat truly impacts how we feel — physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Here’s to continuing the movement toward holistic health, nourishment, and mindful eating for mental well-being.

This Mental Health Week, I had the honor of showing up in a few different ways.

I spent time with the Portage Elementary and Middle School counselors — creating a space for them to pause, breathe, and reconnect. Instead of another meeting about policies and procedures, we practiced chair yoga, breathwork, and sound healing — real tools to help regulate and release right at their desks.

Then over the weekend, I took my Resilient Creation Station back to Sundays on State Street in Chicago. People of all ages stopped by to make stress balls and affirmation rocks — and something as simple as that sparked beautiful conversations about stress, joy, and healing.

And finally, I made sure to show up for myself — taking a reflective hike through the Indiana Dunes, grounding in nature, and giving myself permission to rest.

That’s what Mental Health Week reminded me of — that showing up for others also means remembering to show up for yourself.

If you’re ready for your own reset, join me this Saturday for the Resilient Reset Fall Retreat, and sign up for my Winter Wellness Group — Resilient Reflections, where we’ll move, breathe, and heal together through the colder months.

As We Move Deeper Into Fall…

As the days get shorter and the air turns colder, many of us begin to feel the shift — not just in the weather, but in our mood, our energy, and even our sense of balance.

In nature, this is a time of slowing down. Trees release what they no longer need. Animals begin to gather, prepare, and rest. The Earth itself turns inward — conserving energy for what’s to come.
Yet as humans, we often try to push through instead of tuning in.

That’s where seasonal attunement and eco-psychology come in — the understanding that our emotional health is deeply connected to the natural world. When we allow ourselves to move with the season rather than fight against it, we find more ease, clarity, and self-compassion.

And while the holidays can be a joyful time for some, for others they bring grief, financial stress, or feelings of loneliness.
So I wanted to create a space for all of it — the light and the dark.

Introducing Resilient Reflections: A Winter Wellness Experience — A Supportive Space for Seasonal Affective Disorder and Emotional Well-Being.

This is a free group running through the winter months, created to help us stay grounded, connected, and cared for.
Together we’ll explore:

🌿 Mind-body practices for stress and mood

🕯️ Journaling and self-reflection rooted in eco-psychology

💫 Creative self-care inspired by the season

🤎 Gentle community support through the holidays and beyond

If you’ve been craving balance, peace, and a sense of connection through the darker months, I’d love for you to join me.

Let’s learn to move through this season with intention — and come out stronger and more grounded by spring. 🌷

🍁 And before winter arrives… come reset with me in person!

This Saturday, I’ll be hosting the Resilient Reset: Fall Into Healing Retreat — a gentle weekend designed to help you release stress, connect with nature, and prepare your mind, body, and spirit for the months ahead.

We’ll spend the day surrounded by the beauty of fall — reflecting, moving, breathing, and restoring balance before the winter slowdown.
