Today, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jacob from Aseracare Hospice, along with Rachael and Chriss, who generously volunteered their time to help beautify our Memory Care courtyard.

Together, they spent the day weeding, planting flowers, and refreshing our outdoor space, helping create an even more welcoming and peaceful environment for our residents. Their generosity, hard work, and willingness to give back to our community truly embody the spirit of service.

At Windward Pointe, we know that access to nature and beautiful outdoor spaces can have a meaningful impact on the well-being of those living with dementia. Thanks to the efforts of Jacob and the volunteer support of Rachael and Chriss, our residents will have an even more enjoyable place to relax, connect, and create meaningful moments outdoors.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Aseracare Hospice and for community members like Rachael and Chriss who chose to spend their personal time serving others. Their kindness and dedication made a lasting impact on our courtyard and the residents who enjoy it every day.

At Windward Pointe, our evenings in Memory Care are intentionally designed to feel peaceful, comforting, and meaningful.
Our Signature Winddown Series helps residents transition into the evening through calming activities that nurture relaxation, connection, and emotional well-being. From soft music and guided reflection to sensory experiences, conversation, aromatherapy, poetry, and gentle companionship — these moments are designed to reduce anxiety and create a sense of peace at the end of the day. 💜

For individuals living with dementia, evenings can sometimes feel overwhelming or confusing. Creating consistent, soothing routines can help provide comfort, familiarity, and reassurance while supporting a calmer environment for everyone.

These meaningful moments are some of our favorite parts of the day — quiet reminders that care is found not only in what we do, but in how we make people feel.

This year, we are proud to launch our Growing Memories Together fundraiser in support of our 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Team while also helping enhance our community gardens and outdoor living spaces for residents, families, and staff to enjoy. 🌸

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing nurses and QMAs here at Windward Pointe 💙

The compassion, patience, dedication, and love our nursing team shows each day does not go unnoticed. They are the heart of the care we provide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and families every single day.

To celebrate our special team, we held a fun spirit week dedicated to our nurses and QMAs with a different color theme each day. Every color represented a meaningful quality they bring to our community — from compassion and positivity to strength, teamwork, and kindness. It was a wonderful way to recognize the incredible impact they make each and every day at Windward Pointe.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to AseraCare Hospice, The Care Team Hospice, and SouthernCare Hospice Services for your generous donations and support in helping us celebrate and appreciate our incredible team. Your kindness and partnership mean so much to our staff and community.

Our residents from Assisted Living and Memory Care came together for a meaningful service project in honor of National Firefighters Day (May 4th) and National Police Officer Day (May 15th). ❤️💙

This special project was organized through a collaborative effort between Kim and Amanda, bringing residents together to show appreciation for the individuals who help keep our community safe every day.

Together, they baked and delivered homemade cookies to our local fire station and police department as a small token of appreciation for the hardworking firefighters and police officers who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our community every day. 🍪🚓🚒

Service projects like these are incredibly important within Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. They give residents a sense of purpose, connection, and accomplishment while reminding them they still play an active and meaningful role in the community around them. For individuals living with dementia, engaging in familiar, hands-on acts of kindness can encourage socialization, spark memories, build confidence, and create moments of joy and fulfillment.

What a beautiful way to celebrate the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and special women in our lives at our Mother’s Day Breakfast this past Saturday at Windward Pointe Senior Living 💐❤️

Guests enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast, shopped our special resident & staff-created cookbooks, and got creative with a fun wooden spoon craft! 🥞📚🥄

The morning was filled with smiles, laughter, love, and wonderful memories shared together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special! 🌷✨
