July is National Ice Cream Month! 🍦 Residents were able to enjoy ice cream at an ice cream social. Yellow cake batter ice cream was a favorite!

We were supposed to go to Porter County Fair today, but with the heat index, our activity department brought the fair to the residents! They had mini corn dogs, pink lemonade slushies, cotton candy, tattoo table, skee-ball, fishing game, water balloon toss, and Plinko!

What a fun day for the residents and some staff had a water balloon fight! Nothing but laughs and smiles today!

Ice cream and great company! We had a deliciously fun time at our Ice Cream Social. Not only did the residents enjoy their favorite scoops and toppings, but we were thrilled to welcome our wonderful neighbors from Miller's Merry Manor who joined in the fun.

What a great way to celebrate the 4th of July with some great entertainment from Mary Bebout! Mary comes in with awesome outfits, singing voice, dance moves, and plays the violin for the residents. The residents cant wait for her to come back!

Last week we celebrated an amazing resident here at Miller's. Betty Bogan turned 100 years old on July 3rd! She looks amazing and had a birthday party with her friends and family! Happy 100th Birthday, Betty! 🥳

The last week of June was super busy for the residents. They ventured off to the movies and watched Lilo & Stich, went to the Railcats game, and ended the week by going to the Portage Marina for a picnic and a couple of games of beach bingo! 😎🌤
