I want to be vulnerable as a solo business owner. Today has been a challenging day for my business. I feel compelled to share a little about that, and talk about the importance of policies - even the ones I didn't write down. As a solo entrepreneur, new problems require me to adapt quickly. And when people talk down to me like I am some customer service representative from a major corporation, that does not feel okay.
When you work with me, you’re not dealing with a corporation. You’re working with one person — someone who pours care, time, and heart into each session.
Small businesses aren’t made of systems and buffers. We’re made of people. We still carry what’s said to us after we leave the room.
