We have an Easter egg hunt every year. We fill plastic eggs with candy and scatter them all over. At 3 pm we let the residents go look for them. There were 5 eggs with notes in them saying to see Sue. That they were a winner! If they found one they won a Cadbury caramel egg. We had a fun time today! Happy Easter!🐣🐇

We had author Karen Cutler Drecktrah come to Heritage House to speak to us about her book Little Ida-The Story of a Family Tree. Little Ida is a spruce tree that they planted next to their house. Little Ida watched the comings and goings of their family through the years. Karen read some chapters out of her book to us. The story was precious! We loved meeting you and hearing your story!

Our Administrative Assistant Aspen surprised us on Sunday by bringing her sweet Dachshund Winnie for a pet visit. Winnie is 10 weeks old. She was so excited to see everyone. We all had our share of cuddling with Winnie before Aspen and Winnie visited a bit more in the Great Room before she left. Thank you Aspen! We are so glad that you and Winnie stopped by!❤️

We had a Celebration of life for a very special resident. David moved into Heritage House and settled in. He made some very good friends while he was there. He was part of the Fireside Chat Club. We have a group of residents who love to sit in a half circle by the toasty Fireplace each evening visiting and enjoying each other’s company. David was also very talented with his hands. He carved walking sticks, ducks and much more. We offer to our residents families a Celebration of Life if they are interested. It is really whatever the family wants. It is so important especially for our residents to find closure when they lose a special friend.. Thank you to Kristi and Jim for having such a beautiful Celebration. Our residents and staff are so thankful for the opportunity to get to know David.❤️

Meet our new Associate Administrator Aspen Klubertanz. Our Jeorgia has moved on to a new position with Encore Senior Living In DeForest. We wish her the best. Aspen in a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Stevens. Point. Her degree is in Health Care Administration. Aspen is a Pardeeville resident. She is also a real pet lover. She has three adorable dogs and one cat. Some of her hobbies include hunting and watching sports. She has completed her first full week at Heritage House so we wanted to make sure you got to know her a little better. We welcome her to the TEAM!
