Effective October Monday 3, 2022, a total burn ban has been enacted for the city of Portageville. Due to lack of rainfall and no significant rainfall predicted, extremely dry conditions have necessitated this order being put in place. All outdoor burning including yard waste is prohibited. After a significant rainfall has occurred, the ban will be lifted. Please contact the Fire Department or City Hall with any questions.
