Patient Care Coordinator

Our Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact in the patient experience. From phone calls, to check ins all the way through check out. Our administrative team plays a huge role in the care of our patients.
Qualified candidates include but are not limited to those who have worked in an administrative role in a health care setting, individuals with experience in customer service, and who have worked in a fast-paced environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Creating a warm, welcoming environment
* Assisting patients with scheduling
* Answering telephones& monitoring voicemails
* Monitoring email & app-based communication
* Checking patients in and out
* Rooming patients & assisting with passive modalities
* Assisting with patient account managment
* Collecting & processing payments
* Verifying patient insurance benefits
* Communicating with billing department & keeping patient ledgers balanced
* Managing daily collections, balancing the drawer, and preparing deposits
Secondary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Facilitating referrals & imaging requests
* Monitoring & managing office supply inventory
* Ensuring the facility is clean and tidy
