Thank you, Oregon Governor Tina Kotek, and First Lady Aimee Wilson, for inviting Recovery Works and our community partners from Indigenenity and Latinx Behavioral Health Resource Networks for a discussion about results being delivered from the first round of Measure 110 funding. This feels historic.
The provider organizations represented in this picture have already brought significant resources online for people in Multnomah County experiencing addictions, and we are just beginning.
With support from Measure 110, Recovery Works has opened:
🙏 16 bed detox center in SE Portland capable of offering 1,200 detox treatments per year and representing a nearly 18% increase in Portland detox capacity
🙏 Oregon’s first Housed Outpatient Treatment Program for fentanyl users, in partnership with Bridges to Change
🙏 Integrated Outpatient Clinic in Newberg offering addictions treatment, medicine, case management, and peer services capable of serving 400+ humans in Yamhill County experiencing addictions
🙏 And we are on track to open another outpatient clinic in Clackamas County by first quarter 2024
All thanks to funding from Measure 110.
It took time to build the Measure 110 program. Oregon is now turning cannabis tax revenues into freely accessible treatment, housing, employment, and peer services to address our addictions crisis 💯
🌟 Well done, Oregon. The results are just beginning to pour in! 🌟
