Anything may be easy or difficult. It is one's interpretation. Just because something needs to be done, we can't set it aside because we think it's difficult to do. Nor can we sweep it under the carpet or postpone it forever, because of the consequences. We, therefore, must work on priority and do those very things that will improve the quality of our life to usher in happiness.

Many experience silence frightening. When alone, they switch on the TV/radio to blank it out. When in company, they talk incessantly even if the other prefers quietness. Silence is frightening because that is the one time one confronts one's self. And, to most, it is not a pleasant experience. Through everyday meditation, one gets to meet themselves, resolve internal issues and over a period silence becomes acceptable, even enjoyable.
